Allow me to tell you a story . . . two years ago, during the holidays, I took the trip of a lifetime to Ireland, Northern Ireland, and England (specifically London). My goal was to hit every Christmas market I could find alongside my friend Clare and (sometimes) her now husband, Chris. Magical doesn’t begin to express what this trip was like. Every little town (and the big cities too) were decorated to the hilt. Christmas sparkled like the lights on the trees and those wrapped around the streetlamps. Store fronts boasted their holiday goods, hot chocolate was served in every restaurant and cafe, and the weather was deliciously cold.
So, I understood when Emma quit her job to follow a dream–to dance with famed dancer Leo in Paris for an upcoming competition in the 2023 movie, A Paris Christmas Waltz, which stars Jen Lilly and Matthew Morrison. True to nearly every holiday movie, Paris is a-glitter for the season. But, of course, there is the ex-girlfriend who pretends to be a friend to Emma but who tries to destroy the budding relationship between these two new dance partners.
While I probably won’t watch it again (this season), I surely enjoyed it . . . especially the visuals.
Bookstore: I don’t remember one.
Hot chocolate/cocoa: Of course! This is Paris, after all!

Bakery: Oui! With outside dancing.
Cute kid or pet: Non.
Ornament Rating: Three and a half out of five shiny red ornaments! If you decide to watch it, having a nice cup of hot cocoa topped with whipped cream beside you, turn out the overhead lights, turn on the twinkle lights, and enjoy.
I watched A Paris Christmas Waltz on Netflix. What about you? Have you seen the movie? What did you think?
