Christmas Movie Review: Let it Snow (2013)

November 17, 2025 by Eva Marie Everson

Let it Snow popped up on my YouTube recently. I love Candace Cameron Bure, so I thought I’d give it a looksee.

I’m glad I did. The storyline is typical of most Hallmark Christmas movies, but there is enough depth in the story to keep the viewer’s interest. I may have even had a tear or two at the end.

Stephanie Beck (Bure) is an excutive who works for her work-driven father. Outside of the office, they have very little interests, which hurts Stephanie greatly. But if her father cannot meet her where her heart is, then she will meet him in his boardroom. When her dad (played by the late Alan Thicke) sends her to get a new property ready, she is not ready for how the location and the people will change her. Can a woman who never really had a Christmas understand the importance of a Christmas lodge filled with tradition and sentiment?

Bookstore: No, but a great winter-wear store!

Hot chocolate/cocoa: Wonderful moments with hot cocoa, coffee, etc. The whole scene is “where is this and how can I get there?”

Bakery: The lodge is filled with baked goods and baking.

Cute kid or pet: LOTS of them.

Ornament Rating: 4 out of five shiny red ornaments!

I watched Let it Snow on YouTube and you can too!
