What a delightful way to spend an hour and 26 minutes!
Once again, Andrew Walker is making his Christmas movie appearance. Does the man ever get tired to saving some damsel in distress from herself? (I’m inserting a smiley face here.) Bethany Joy Lenz plays said damsel . . . and, before anyone from my generation wonders, I looked her up. No, she is not the daughter or granddaughter of Kay Lenz (popular actress from the 1970s) but gracious does she resemble her!
In this movie, Jenna and Kevin are writers who work for the same online magazine. They are given an assignment to fly to Aspen, find the magic in Christmas, and then write about it. The article chosen for publication means that one writer stays with the company and the other loses his or her job.
But as “fate” would have it, the flight makes an emergency landing in Santa Claus, Indiana (and yes, it really does exist). There they meet an older couple who are trying to save their inn from demolition (seems there is always something like this happening). As they work from different angles on their new assignment (finding the magic of Christmas in Santa Claus), they are like the two pups in Lady & The Tramp nibbling at the same noodle from opposite directions.
Just . . . cute! Oh! Speaking of popular actresses from back in the day . . . Belinda Montgomery plays one of the inn’s owners.

Bookstore: No, but a fabulous inn, the kind you’d love to stay at during the holidays.
Hot chocolate/cocoa: I believe so. But I’m not completely sure.
Bakery: No, but there is an adorable scene in which Jenna and Kevin make Christmas cookies.
Cute kid or pet: Yes! Kevin’s niece.
Ornament Rating: 4 out of five shiny red ornaments!
I watched Snowed Inn Christmas on Amazon Prime. If you don’t have Prime, you can watch it on YouTube . . . right HERE.
